Technical Scrum Master / Delivery Lead

Required Qualifications

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile/Scrum certification preferred.

• 8+ years of overall IT experience with strong experience as a Scrum Master leading Agile delivery teams.

• Prior hands-on development experience in C#/.NET before transitioning into Scrum Master/Delivery Lead roles.

• Proven experience leading software development teams and driving end-to-end project delivery.

• Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, SDLC, and software engineering best practices.

• Experience managing cross-functional teams, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release management.

• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Serve as Scrum Master for Agile development teams, ensuring adherence to Scrum principles and best practices.

• Act as Delivery Lead, driving successful execution and delivery of development initiatives.

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming sessions.

• Remove impediments and help teams maintain productivity and delivery commitments.

• Partner with Product Owners, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to prioritize and deliver business value.

• Track team performance, sprint metrics, risks, dependencies, and project status.

• Coach and mentor teams on Agile methodologies and continuous improvement practices.

• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure quality, scalability, and timely delivery of solutions.

• Support release planning and coordinate activities across multiple development workstreams.

Technical Background

• Strong prior experience with:

  • C#

  • .NET Framework/.NET Core

  • Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)

  • Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in retail or in-store technology environments.

• Experience leading multiple Agile teams in enterprise environments.

• Strong technical acumen with the ability to engage effectively with architects, developers, and product teams.
