We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead pricing software implementation projects, including Price Optimization, CPQ, and Price Management systems such as PriceFx, Vendavo, Zilliant, or PROS. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with proven project management skills to successfully deliver medium-to-large scale, complex programs across cross-functional teams.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience leading Pricing Software Implementation projects (PriceFx, Vendavo, Zilliant, PROS, or similar).
- Strong technical background; knowledge of development/coding, integrations, microservices, cloud, and databases is highly desirable.
- Enterprise-level experience leading medium-to-large, complex, multi-year projects concurrently.
- Strong knowledge of project management processes, tools, and structured methodologies.
- Proven experience defining project metrics, evaluating results, and communicating progress to stakeholders, including ROI, business case analysis, and post-project reviews.
- Familiarity with development teams and Agile methodologies.
- Experience managing timeliness, budgets, and proactively communicating with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Ability to assess, manage, resolve, and escalate project risks and issues effectively.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
- Experience with Jira and Confluence.
- Awareness of emerging cloud technologies and industry trends, with the ability to recommend improvements to cloud strategy.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead complex, multi-disciplinary pricing software projects from initiation to successful delivery.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, identify risks, define project scope, and develop detailed project plans.
- Translate stakeholder needs into actionable deliverables and prioritize program goals.
- Define project milestones, manage dependencies, and proactively identify and mitigate risks.
- Control project scope while evaluating business priorities to balance resources and initiatives efficiently.
- Measure project progress, track performance metrics, and provide status updates to leadership and stakeholders.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding.
- Provide guidance on technical challenges and support project execution plans.
- Lead cross-functional teams, ensuring timelines, quality standards, and project objectives are met.
