Job Description
Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, clients, and technical teams to capture and translate requirements into clear user stories and product specifications
  • Lead requirements gathering sessions with internal and external stakeholders; create detailed business process flow diagrams, data mapping documents, and integration specifications
  • Own and groom the product backlog; prioritize features and enhancements based on business value and technical feasibility.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to clarify requirements, support sprint planning, and ensure the successful implementation of features.
  • Analyse complex system integrations and data flows to identify gaps, dependencies, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Collaborate with QA and development to define acceptance criteria and validate the functionality of delivered features.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues across systems, including basic code-level debugging and SQL/database analysis.
  • Understand and interpret relational database structures, write and review SQL queries, and ensure data integrity across systems.
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of stakeholders, from developers to executive leadership, translating technical information into business terms and vice versa.
  • Contribute to the creation of internal and client-facing documentation, including release notes, API guides, and integration support materials.

 

 Required Skills/Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in product ownership, business analysis, or a hybrid technical-functional role.
  • Strong Experience in Inventory Management is Required.
  • Strong understanding of system integrations, APIs, and data mapping.
  • Experience working with cross-functional agile teams and leading product lifecycle from discovery through delivery.
  • Proven ability to elicit requirements, map business processes, and define user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
  • Hands-on experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL); able to write and interpret SQL queries.
  • Ability to debug or read through application code (basic knowledge of scripting or object-oriented languages is a plus).
  • Exceptional communication skills — written, visual, and verbal — with the ability to present complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Figma/Visio, Postman, and data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI or Tableau).
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology and SDLC best practices.
