Technical / Functional Skills

• Demonstrated hands on experience of implementing and maintaining the following items in a large enterprise environment. 
• Networking, SDWAN, Switching, Routing and WiFi infrastructure
• Next-Gen Firewalls, Prisma FWaaS
• IPSec, OSPF, BGP, SPAN, VLANs
• Experience of traffic filtering and segmentation. 
• Developing and implementing firewall policies & controlling network access.
• Analysis and fault finding of connectivity issues across multiple network technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop solutions in line with the larger project goals.
• Experience with IoT devices and their use in a business environment desirable.
• Use of network monitoring tools.
• Enterprise Change Management processes
• Ability to create and maintain existing network documentation

 

Experience Required

• Working across a range of Networking & Firewall technologies in a large enterprise environment.
• Solving complex technical problems through engineering, including requirements analysis, design, development, implementation and testing.
• Demonstrate security risk assessment for the evaluation and implementation of firewall filtering.
• Navigating a matrix organization and collaborating with multiple stakeholders across functional and technical skill sets.
• Collaborating with Architecture and Engineering teams to deliver IT Security solutions in a timely manner in line with business requirements.
• Building relationships with key stakeholders, managing expectations, prioritizing workloads and delivering impact.
• Communicating efficiently with technical and non-technical team members.
• Change control processes
• Working independently and driving the completion of IT projects.

 

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage the global production deployment of a segmentation solution, with Engineering and Architecture oversight
• Analyzing, planning and implementing changes across a range of network and firewall technologies
• Working with local technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Driving the completion of IT Security tasks in support of the overall project and goals
• Resolving complex obstacles to allow the adoption of the required security tooling while supporting local and global requirements
• Subject matter expert providing guidance to local technical resources
• Communicating with project stakeholders and project management teams
• Managing workload to ensure project deliverables are met escalating blockers where required.
• Working as part of a larger team to deliver security solutions across the global member firm network
