• Understand business needs and translate them into system specifications.
• Address technical concerns and incorporate ideas from stakeholders.

• writing complex queries, optimizing them, and understanding database structures. 
• Design and create efficient data models, including normalization, denormalization, and indexing strategies. 
• Optimize database performance through query tuning, indexing, and database reorganization.
• Implement data security and integrity measures to safeguard information.

Required Qualifications/Skills

• Experience in creating and refining system architectures to meet specific requirements, evaluating software and hardware options, and recommending integration methods.
• Familiarity with popular DBMS like MSSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Oracle is crucial. Understanding of how to create, modify, and manage databases. 
• Knowledge of techniques to optimize SQL queries for performance, such as indexing, query execution plans, and caching. 
• Knowledge of database security, backup and recovery, user management, and maintenance tasks.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., PowerShell, Python, C#) for scripting, automation, and integration. 
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) for managing code changes. 
• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar fields.
