We are seeking a Tableau BI Governance Administrator to oversee the administration, support, and governance of Tableau environments. This role involves managing Tableau Server, ensuring system performance, security, and availability, and supporting business intelligence solutions. You will also lead Tableau content publishing, user management, and enforce BI governance practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and manage Tableau Server, ensuring security, backup, upgrades, and performance.
- Define and enforce BI guidelines, deployment processes, and monitoring protocols. Ensure governance standards are met.
- Handle licensing, authentication, user management, data connections, extracts, and subscriptions.
- Develop, manage, and optimize Tableau dashboards, reports, and visualizations. Collaborate with business teams to meet data requirements.
- Lead Tableau server monitoring and support, ensuring uptime and troubleshooting issues. Communicate with business teams during outages or planned maintenance.
- Leverage cloud technologies (e.g., AWS) for Tableau integration and scalability.
Required Skills
- Experience with Tableau Server and Tableau Desktop, including configuration, content publishing, and user management.
- Strong ability to query and manage data sources.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS.
- Strong written and verbal communication to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
