Primary Responsibilities

• Analyze, develop, and maintain System Security Plans (SSPs) based on the NIST 800-53 framework
• Design, develop, and maintain custom applications to meet evolving business needs
• Collaborate with teams to gather, define, and document system and business requirements
• Create comprehensive test plans, user guides, and related documentation for new and existing applications
• Provide technical support to project teams and assist in completing SSP documentation
• Evaluate proposed system changes and software updates, documenting associated risks and disaster recovery impacts
• Ensure compliance with project and systems engineering methodologies, including formal documentation standards
• Participate in or lead meetings, facilitate requirements gathering sessions, and support stakeholder communications
• Create and validate project and task estimates to support planning and resource allocation
• Review and approve project management documents, including change management and compliance artifacts
• Develop training materials and deliver training sessions to end users or project stakeholders
• Differentiate between system defects and new requirements; initiate change requests as needed
• Manage and monitor defect tracking logs; coordinate issue resolution
• Conduct artifact reviews with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with standards and policies
• Ensure that all changes to production systems follow proper change management protocols

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Proven experience as a System Analyst in enterprise-level environments
• Experience with System Security Plans (SSPs) and NIST 800-53 standards
• Proficiency in writing and maintaining system and project documentation
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall project methodologies
• Experience developing, validating, and executing test plans and test cases
• Knowledge of project/work estimation techniques and tools
• Understanding of change control processes and change board documentation
