Key Responsibilities

• Support and expand infrastructure, ensuring continuous improvement and optimization.
• Coordinate server configuration and administration with multiple stakeholders (SDC, contractors).
• Provide recommendations for server and software upgrades.
• Monitor systems and applications to ensure security, availability, and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network and system issues related to performance, security, and availability.
• Perform systems monitoring, analysis, and performance tuning; escalate issues to vendors as necessary.
• Build and maintain relationships in a matrixed environment.
• Identify opportunities for improving performance, cost-efficiency, and overall system optimization.
• Manage and configure Azure DevOps projects, git repositories, and pipelines.
• Oversee and configure organizational settings in Azure DevOps.
• Recommend and assist in building and hosting complex application solutions.
• Manage and deploy Microsoft Azure services, Power Platform, and Microsoft 365 services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 2-3 years of experience with Microsoft Server 2012 R2, 2016, 2019, and 2022.
• 2-3 years of IIS administration.
• 2-3 years of experience with network communications, including TCP/IP, DNS, Samba/CIFS, and NTFS permissions.
• 2-3 years of professional experience in Microsoft Azure cloud systems (highly desired).
• 2-3 years of experience with other cloud providers such as AWS or GCP (highly desired).
• 3-5 years of IT experience in infrastructure/network environments, including systems operations, support, maintenance, and administration.
• 3-5 years of experience supporting middleware such as API Management, IT Service Automation tools, and batch job services (highly desired).
• 5-8 years of professional experience in information systems engineering or a related field is required.

Skills and Competencies

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure and cloud service management.
• Proficiency in managing Microsoft 365 services and Power Platform.
• Experience with network performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and tuning.
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps and experience managing projects, pipelines, and git repositories.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex systems and network issues.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, matrixed environment.
