Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain enterprise-level IT systems, including servers, storage, and network devices.
• Monitor system performance and security, identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner.
• Implement and maintain virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) to optimize resource utilization.
• Configure and manage cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) to support organizational objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute system upgrades, migrations, and expansions.
• Ensure system backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans are in place and tested regularly.
• Conduct regular security assessments and apply patches and updates to mitigate vulnerabilities.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for end-users and resolve escalated IT issues.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5 to 10 years of hands-on experience in system administration and engineering.
• Proficiency in Windows and Linux server environments.
• Experience with virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud services.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, and security principles.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) for automation and task scripting.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, CompTIA Network+) are a plus.
