Expectations from the Role 

• Take responsibility in addressing the customer queries as well las contribute on technical needs.  
• Restoring environments from one to another, Failover and DR activities  
• Using a GUI or SQL/CMD tool to maintain appropriate space levels in the ever-growing databases  
• Good at replication concepts, Index rebuilds, Performance monitoring.  
• Should have good understanding of DBA concepts to be able to manage individually as well as to guide the team.  
• Starting and stopping Sybase servers, Services and End to End DBA Support.
