Job Description
Responsibilities
  • Perform structural integrity analysis using Ansys Workbench, focusing on both linear and non-linear static analysis.
  • Conduct dynamic analysis, including Normal Mode Analysis (NMA) and forced response analysis, to assess system behavior under various conditions.
  • Carry out fatigue life calculations, including Low Cycle Fatigue (LCF) and High Cycle Fatigue (HCF), to evaluate component longevity.
  • Engage in FBO (Fan Blade Out) and windmilling assessments to ensure component reliability in critical scenarios.
  • Validate analysis results through classical methods and hand calculations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insights and recommendations based on analysis findings.
  • Contribute to projects in the aerospace and aero engine domains, leveraging domain-specific knowledge.

 

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in stress analysis, specifically using Ansys Workbench.
  • Strong knowledge of static analysis (linear and non-linear) and dynamic analysis techniques.
  • Experience with fatigue life calculations (LCF & HCF) and related methodologies.
  • Familiarity with FBO and windmilling assessments is preferred.
  • Proven ability to validate results using classical methods and hand calculations.
  • Experience in the aerospace/aero engine domain is highly desirable.
  • Working knowledge of flow control valves is a plus.
