Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and manage backup and recovery solutions for enterprise-level systems and applications.
  • Perform regular backups and ensure that backups are completed successfully and within agreed-upon time frames.
  • Monitor backup jobs and troubleshoot backup failures to ensure data integrity.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to backup procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
  • Test backups regularly to verify data integrity and reliability of recovery processes.
  • Evaluate and recommend improvements to backup and recovery processes.
 
Preferred Qualifications
  • Good communication skills both written and spoken
  • 3- 5 years of experience managing Backup Technologies with Rubrik being the preferred
  • 3 - 5 years of experience managing Network Attached Storage technologies with NetApp being the preferred
  • Analyzing daily Backup and Storage logs and taking appropriate actions
  • Ability to work with different technical groups to resolve issues or complete requested requirements
  • Prepare daily reports for Backup and Storage platform status
  • 3 years of experience with Cloud environments with Azure and Oracle being the preferred
