Overview
We are seeking an experienced Stibo Systems (STEP) PIM Architect to lead the design, implementation, and governance of an enterprise Product Information Management (PIM) platform. This role requires a seasoned architect who can own the solution end-to-end, guide technical teams, and confidently engage with business and technical stakeholders in a client-facing, high-expectation environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the overall PIM solution architect for Stibo Systems (STEP) implementations.
- Design scalable, secure, and high-performance PIM architectures aligned with enterprise ecommerce and omnichannel strategies.
- Lead architecture discussions, design reviews, and roadmap planning with clients and internal teams.
- Define data models, workflows, governance, and integration patterns within Stibo STEP.
- Own integrations between Stibo PIM and ecommerce platforms, CMS, ERP, OMS, DAM, and downstream systems.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership and architectural guidance to development and integration teams.
- Establish best practices for data quality, performance, security, and scalability.
- Identify risks early, resolve architectural challenges, and manage complex client expectations.
- Support the full program lifecycle from discovery and design through build, deployment, and optimization.
Required Qualifications
- 12–15+ years of overall IT experience, with significant experience in PIM architecture roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with Stibo Systems (STEP) as an architect or technical lead.
- Deep understanding of Product Information Management concepts, data modeling, workflows, and governance.
- Proven experience designing enterprise-scale architectures.
- Strong experience with system integrations, APIs, and event-driven architectures.
- Demonstrated ability to lead client-facing discussions and support challenging stakeholders.
- Experience working in onsite, client-facing environments.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and presentation skills.
