Starburst Platform Administrator

Required Skills & Experience

• Hands-on experience with Starburst software installation, configuration, and connectivity setup.
• Working knowledge of OpenShift/Kubernetes environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills with clear communication of resolution steps.
• Familiarity with Starburst best practices, security model, and platform adaptability.
• Experience with performance tuning, capacity monitoring, and platform metrics reporting.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Starburst across production and non-production environments.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute platform maintenance, disaster recovery, and software releases.
• Act as L3+ escalation point for platform issues, including troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
• Monitor system capacity and stability, assisting with metrics collection and reporting.
• Contribute to documentation, standards definition, and best practices for platform operations.
