Responsibilities

• Design, implement, manage, and maintain storage solutions.
• Lead installation and configuration of storage and backup systems.
• Provision and decommission storage following documented procedures.
• Manage and troubleshoot NFS exports and CIFS Shares.
• Support resolution of production incidents across development, test, and production systems.
• Monitor systems within the storage and backup domain and optimize system resources.
• Participate in systems management and security compliance activities.
• Oversee monitoring, system access, and configuration management.
• Identify automation opportunities and recommend tools for automation and monitoring.
• Develop and maintain storage system documentation and create Knowledge Base articles.
• Automate repeatable tasks using scripting and Ansible.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of production support experience in Storage and Backup Administration.
• Expert-level knowledge of SAN and Storage systems (NetApp, EMC, HPE, IBM, Cisco, Rubrik, Brocade).
• Advanced to expert knowledge of operating systems (AIX, Linux, Windows, VMware).
• NetApp Grid and SAN/Storage Administration certification required.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or relevant field.
