Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the end-to-end implementation of Salesforce CPQ solutions, including configuration, pricing, quoting, and product setup.
• Design and develop custom solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Lightning Flows to support CPQ functionality and business processes.
• Integrate Salesforce CPQ with other Salesforce clouds, such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Revenue Cloud, as well as third-party applications, ensuring seamless data flow and system integration.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs, design technical solutions, and ensure Salesforce CPQ and related technologies are deployed to meet those needs.
• Analyze and resolve complex system issues, optimize CPQ configurations, and streamline processes to improve performance and user experience.
• Advocate for and implement Salesforce CPQ best practices to ensure the system is scalable, maintainable, and aligned with industry standards.
• Develop and maintain clear documentation for custom solutions, configurations, and workflows to ensure long-term knowledge transfer and system sustainability.

Technical Skills/Experience

• 5+ years of experience with Salesforce CPQ full lifecycle implementation and configuration.
• 5+ years of experience in custom Salesforce development, including Apex, LWC, and Lightning Flows.
• 4+ years of experience working with Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
• Hands-on experience with Revenue Cloud (preferred). 
• Expertise in Salesforce CPQ capabilities, including pricing rules, product rules, quote templates, and discounting logic.
• Advanced proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and Salesforce Flows.
• Experience with Salesforce integrations, RESTful APIs, and web services.
• Solid understanding of Salesforce Object Model, SOQL, and Salesforce Security Model.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex system issues, debug code, and implement solutions efficiently.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce CPQ limitations and the ability to communicate those limitations to stakeholders effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (required).
• Advanced degree (Master’s or equivalent) is a plus.
• Salesforce CPQ Specialist, Salesforce Administrator certification, Salesforce Platform Developer I & II certifications.
