Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop interactive MicroStrategy reports, dossiers, and dashboards using tools like MicroStrategy Architect, Desktop, Web, and Office to meet business needs.
• Work with star and snowflake data models, and design MicroStrategy schema objects such as logical tables, attributes, facts, hierarchies, and metrics for large-scale data warehouse projects.
• Optimize MicroStrategy reports for performance using VLDB properties and advanced SQL techniques to ensure efficient query execution and minimal load times.
• Partner with business stakeholders to define reporting requirements, and work closely with other architects, developers, and analysts to review schemas, design, and optimize business intelligence solutions.
• Develop and troubleshoot complex MicroStrategy reports using advanced filters, level metrics, transformations, and pass-through functions to support business needs.

Skills & Qualifications

• 9+ years of experience in MicroStrategy development, with hands-on experience in designing and optimizing reports, dashboards, and dossiers.
• Strong knowledge of dimensional data modeling and experience working with data warehousing methodologies (Star, Snowflake).
• Expertise in SQL for troubleshooting and creating complex schema objects, with experience working with Teradata, Postgres, or Oracle databases.
• Strong understanding of VLDB properties and performance tuning techniques for optimizing large reports and data visualizations.
• Ability to interact with business teams to gather requirements and collaborate with technical teams to ensure solutions meet business needs.
