Job Description
Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a 24/7 Service Desk team, providing mentorship and daily guidance to team members. Promote a collaborative and high-performing culture.
  • Assign tasks and manage resource allocation effectively to ensure team goals are met and operational efficiency is maintained.
  • Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the organization’s IT infrastructure to ensure scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Support and optimize cloud performance and cost-efficiency, ensuring optimal resource utilization and effective scaling practices.
  • Address and troubleshoot infrastructure and cloud-related issues promptly to minimize downtime and disruptions to service.
  • Monitor and enhance the performance of digital systems and services to deliver seamless experiences for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Supervise the desktop support function, ensuring that all employees have the technological tools and support they need to work efficiently.
  • Manage the procurement process for technology resources, including hardware and software, ensuring cost-effective purchasing and timely acquisition.
  • Work closely with other departments to align IT infrastructure and cloud strategies with company objectives and future growth.
  • Contribute to the execution of scaling strategies for infrastructure and cloud resources to support business expansion.

 

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven leadership experience in managing teams within infrastructure and cloud operations.
  • Strong technical expertise with a comprehensive understanding of cloud technologies, IT infrastructure, and networking.
  • Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Excellent problem-solving capabilities, with a track record of addressing complex technical issues effectively.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) frameworks and best practices.
