The Senior Data Architect will lead the design, development, and implementation of data architecture solutions to meet organizational objectives. This role requires extensive experience in data modeling, database design, and data management, as well as the ability to collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective data strategy and governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive data architecture frameworks that support business needs and data strategies.
- Design data models, data flows, and integration architectures.
- Create and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
- Design and implement data integration strategies to combine data from various sources.
- Develop and enforce data governance policies and standards. Ensure data quality, consistency, and accuracy across the organization.
- Evaluate and recommend data management tools, technologies, and platforms.
- Optimize data storage and retrieval processes to enhance performance and scalability.
- Monitor and address issues related to data performance and system capacity.
- Implement and enforce data security measures and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and organizational policies.
- Lead and manage data architecture projects, including planning, execution, and delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of [10] years of experience in data architecture or a related role, with a proven track record of designing and implementing complex data solutions.
- Expertise in data modeling and database design.
- Experience with data integration and ETL tools.
- Knowledge of big data technologies and cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, Azure Synapse).
