Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and secure cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred) and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Integrate security into the CI/CD pipeline, using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, and automated security testing (SAST, DAST).
• Develop and enforce Zero-Trust security policies for user and service access control.
• Implement and manage IAM tools (Okta, AWS IAM) for secure authentication and authorization.
• Secure containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Leverage Terraform and other automation tools for infrastructure provisioning and security tasks.
• Proactively identify and mitigate vulnerabilities using security scanners and best practices.
• Work with DevOps and product teams to embed security across the software development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in Cloud Infrastructure and Security roles (may substitute a degree with relevant professional experience).
• 4+ years of experience as a Security Engineer with a focus on DevOps practices, security automation, and cloud security.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure and cloud security best practices.
• 3+ years of experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Experience working with security tools and practices, including Static and Dynamic Application Security Testing, and vulnerability scanning tools.
• AWS, GCP, or Azure, including services such as EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, Lambda, RDS, etc.
• Familiarity with security tools for continuous monitoring, vulnerability management, and threat detection.
•  Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, and other automation frameworks.
• Expertise in Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or similar CI/CD tools.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for securing containerized applications.
• Hands-on experience with IAM tools (Okta, AWS IAM, etc.) to manage user roles, policies, and permissions.
