We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to join our data team. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in data analysis, complex SQL development and optimization, ETL/ELT pipeline design, and modern reporting solutions. This role demands hands-on experience with Microsoft BI tools (SSIS, SSRS, Power BI), programming (Python, .NET), and cloud data platforms, particularly within the Azure ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize complex, high-performance SQL queries for data extraction and analysis.
• Create and manage robust ETL/ELT pipelines using SSIS and modern data integration tools.
• Design and maintain database structures to support analytics and reporting requirements.
• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using Power BI and SSRS to support business decision-making.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Implement and maintain solutions using Azure Synapse Analytics and other cloud-based data warehousing tools.
• Leverage Python and/or .NET to automate data processes and build data-driven applications.
• Ensure data integrity, quality, and governance across systems and platforms.
• Participate in code reviews, data model reviews, and performance tuning efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, or related fields.
• Expertise in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries across large datasets.
• Strong hands-on experience with SSIS, SSRS, and Power BI.
• Proficiency in Python and/or .NET for scripting and automation.
• Experience with cloud data platforms, particularly Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Data Factory.
• Solid understanding of database design, normalization, and data modeling principles.
• Experience working with large-scale data environments and performance tuning.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
