Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of automation solutions using Ansible, Python, Shell, and RPA tools.
• Analyze and optimize processes for automation, collaborating with operational leads and stakeholders.
• Create and maintain design documents outlining automation architecture and workflows.
• Integrate ITSM tools (preferably ServiceNow) with AIOps platforms like IPSoft/Amelia.
• Develop and implement observability and monitoring solutions using tools like Splunk, AppDynamics, Grafana, etc.
• Mentor and coach teams to ensure adherence to best practices and quality standards.
• Manage the end-to-end SDLC for automation solutions—planning, design, development, testing, and support.
• Ensure quality and advocate for a "Shift Left" approach to prevent issues.
• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to align automation efforts with business needs.
• Provide ongoing maintenance and support for automation workflows.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Ansible, Python, and Shell scripting.
• Expertise in observability tools like Splunk, AppDynamics, and Grafana.
• Experience with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow) and integration with AIOps platforms (e.g., IPSoft/Amelia).
• Proven experience in driving SRE transformations and event correlation (e.g., Big Panda).
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, application architecture, and automation orchestration.
• Ability to design and implement scalable automation solutions to optimize business processes.
• Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and mentoring abilities.
• Familiarity with Automation and Monitoring tools, such as Autosys, and Batch Processing.
• Aptitude for quickly learning new technologies and tools.
