Role and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement Appian-based applications and web-based solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
• Work with external integrations such as web services and Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) to facilitate data flow and application interoperability.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to mid-level developers, sharing best practices and advanced techniques.
• Collaborate with business users to translate requirements into technical designs, mapping and loading data from source systems to data warehouses.
• Identify and resolve issues in interfaces and process models, ensuring smooth operation and functionality.
• Utilize your mastery-level understanding of Appian BPM (version 17 and above), as well as experience with JSON, XML, and RESTful APIs.
• Analyze business requirements to estimate and size Appian development tasks, ensuring timely delivery and quality results.
• Develop applications that integrate with various Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) products and services.

Required Experience/Skills

• 8+ years of design and development experience with Appian BPM (version 17 and above).
• Experience in the banking or financial industry is preferred.
• Strong background in Object-Oriented Programming, primarily in Java.
• Familiarity with REST, SOAP, and basic design principles for web service integration.
• Proficient in working with JSON, XML, and RESTful APIs.
• Experience in building critical Appian applications and associated Java integration components.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively, and strong communication skills.
