Key Responsibilities

• Administer and manage SQL Server databases to ensure optimal performance, availability, and security.
• Design and develop SSRS reports based on end-user requirements.
• Perform routine database backups, recovery operations, and performance tuning to enhance system efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues, providing timely support to business users.
• Experience with database encryption technologies, including Transparent Data Encryption (TDE) and TLS.
• Document and enforce database management standards, procedures, and security policies.
• Work closely with development teams to implement best practices in database management and integration.
• Stay current with emerging database technologies, recommending and implementing improvements as needed.

Required Skills

• Expertise in SQL Server Database Administration (DBA), including performance tuning, backup, recovery, and troubleshooting.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) for designing and developing reports.
• Experience in database replication, including design, configuration, implementation, and monitoring.
• Proficient in SQL scripting and query optimization to support high-volume data operations.
• Strong ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Collaborative team player with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with automation tools and database monitoring solutions.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices.
