Core Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and delivery of software products and solutions with a focus on event-driven architectures and distributed systems.
• Design and implement cloud environments, architectures, and operational models that support business objectives and scalability.
• Develop cloud-ready solutions, ensuring they align with best practices in cloud architecture.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate Kafka (preferably Confluent Cloud or RedHat AMQ Streams) into existing systems and workflows.
• Provide guidance and expertise on infrastructure and engineering design, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Work within a large Scaled Agile program, contributing to cloud and API (Microservices) development.
• Mentor and support team members in best practices for architecture and design.
• Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to improve the overall system architecture.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of industry experience in architecture and delivery of software products and solutions.
• 5+ years of experience designing and implementing cloud environments, architectures, and operational models, including developing cloud-ready solutions.
• 5+ years of experience as a solution/application architect in distributed and event-driven architecture.
• Extensive working knowledge and management of Kafka (preferably Confluent Cloud or RedHat AMQ Streams).
• Proficient knowledge in infrastructure and engineering design.
• Knowledge of cloud and API (Microservices) development within large Scaled Agile programs.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages (C#) and experience with one or more databases (SQL, Oracle).
• Familiarity with .NET Core, enterprise integration patterns (MOM, SOA, etc.), and one or more NoSQL databases (e.g., Cosmos DB, DynamoDB).
• Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
