•Research, analyze and design complex information systems and technology solutions in support of user/business needs

•Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to transform user needs into a strong product concept, with a complete description of system design and requirements

•Lead use case development, requirements analysis and review meetings

•Create wireframes, high-quality workflow and process-flow diagrams, and other visualizations to communicate technical concepts and product architecture

•Write formal, detailed software requirement specifications and software design documentation

•Manage requirements priority, changes, and planning for future product versions in a scalable and sustainable design

•Provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing procedures that are cost effective and meet user/business needs.

•Coordinate with Product Management to build product development road map and track progress

 

Skills & Experience

•2+ years of Product Management experience

•Ideally looking for a candidate with solution architecture and technical product owner background

•Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Bioinformatics or related discipline

•Strongly prefer Life Sciences or Medical Device experience OR experience working in a regulated industry

•Experience in Software Development Lifecycle (IEC 62304 preferred) and/or Agile development environment

•Custom software development or integrated design experience (Hardware, Software, Firmware, etc.)

•Ability to integrate large amounts of information (technical and non-technical) from stakeholders, and distill into a system plan & design to produce user-centric software solutions.

•Strong written and verbal communication, and presentation skills, for both technical and non-technical audience

•Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification a plus!

 

Nice to Have:

•Experience with IoT & Connected Devices, Medical Devices, Lab Automation, Cyber security, Edge Computing, Hardware/Firmware integration, highly desired

•Experience with enterprise process management tools (Jama, Jira, Confluence) and prototyping tools (e.g. Balsamic, Axure, Microsoft Expression Blend/Sketch Flow), desired
