Job Description
- Master s degree in a related Science or Engineering field and five years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education/experience
- Expert-level knowledge and experience in Linux
- Extensive experience working with imperative and object-oriented programming languages such as C, C++ and Fortran; interpreted programming languages such as Perl and Python; and software development tools including Atlassian (Confluence, JIRA, Bitbucket and associated plugins) and Gitlab, in secure configurations where user access across projects must be enforced
- Extensive experience setting up and working with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools
- Broad expertise or unique knowledge in supporting software development infrastructure for multiple software development teams, including experience establishing and managing code repositories for production software development efforts
- Proven ability to successfully lead software development teams and associated activities
- Extensive experience troubleshooting and working with software compilers and linked libraries, as well as troubleshooting hardware, software and networking failures
- A record of expertise through publication and representation within organizations in the field
- Active DOE Q and SCI clearance desired
