Responsibilities:

• Lead, manage, and mentor a team of software engineers, providing guidance, support, and technical leadership.
• Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from planning and design to implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scopes, goals, and deliverables.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software solutions while meeting deadlines and business objectives.
• Implement best practices in software development methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Manage resources effectively, including budget allocation, task assignments, and team performance evaluation.
• Foster a culture of innovation, teamwork, and continuous improvement within the engineering team.
• Act as a technical point of contact and represent the engineering team in discussions with stakeholders.

Requirements & Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ of progressive experience in software development, with a significant tenure in leadership and management roles.
• Strong technical background with hands-on experience in software development, coding, and system design.
• Proficiency in various programming languages and technologies relevant to the organization's tech stack.
• Leadership and people management skills, including the ability to inspire, mentor, and guide a team of engineers.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• In-depth understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.) and project management principles.
• Strategic thinking and decision-making abilities to align engineering goals with broader business objectives.
• Proven track record of delivering successful software projects on time and within budget.
