Roles and Responsibilities

• Analyze user needs and translate them into scalable software and system designs.
• Evaluate requests for solution architecture services and identify requirements, stakeholders, and constraints.
• Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, vendors, and technology SMEs to define architecture solutions.
• Create and maintain UML diagrams (use case, component, sequence) and BPMN diagrams (context, functional flow, cross-functional flow).
• Review and recommend technologies, ensuring alignment with best practices, enterprise standards, and security requirements.
• Document assumptions, risks, and design decisions.
• Present architecture deliverables in design reviews and obtain stakeholder approvals.
• Perform cost/benefit and trade-off analysis for proposed solutions.
• Conduct peer reviews of designs and contribute to continuous improvement of architectural practices.
• Formulate and advocate new technology strategies aligned with business objectives.

Required Experience/Skills

• Strong expertise in Public Cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Hands-on experience with cloud deployments, microservices, and cloud-native design principles (12-Factor App).
• Proficiency with Kafka/streaming, event/messaging systems (Kafka, MQ, etc.), and container-based platforms (Kubernetes, OpenShift).
• Working knowledge of UML and BPMN modeling languages.
• 1+ years of experience with Git (or similar version control), Jira (or similar ticketing system), and Confluence (or similar documentation platform).
• 3–5 years of proven experience as a Software Architect / Systems Architect in enterprise environments.
• 10+ years of overall IT experience with progressive responsibility in softwarea/system design and development.
