Roles and Responsibilities

• Architect and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance Snowflake data platforms.
• Design and manage RBAC, user roles, permissions, databases, and virtual warehouses.
• Optimize queries, workloads, and resource usage for performance and cost efficiency.
• Utilize zero-copy cloning, time travel, and fail-safe features for data recovery and auditing.
• Develop and maintain ELT pipelines using dbt, integrating with tools such as Fivetran, Matillion, or Informatica.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for data and infrastructure using Terraform and GitOps methodologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with data governance and security standards.
• Build Streamlit-based dashboards and internal applications for data visualization and analysis.
• Leverage OpenFlow for orchestration and automation of data workflows.
• Serve as the Snowflake SME, advising on best practices, performance tuning, and architecture optimization.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Snowflake Architect in enterprise settings.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Snowflake scripting.
• Deep expertise in RBAC, user/role management, and account administration.
• Proven experience with at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Solid understanding of data governance, compliance, and security best practices.
• Experience with dbt, OpenFlow, Streamlit, and modern ELT/ETL tools.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD, Terraform, and GitOps for data pipelines.
• SnowPro Core or SnowPro Advanced: Architect certification required.
