Responsibilities

• Monitor and enhance Snowflake query speed, resource consumption, and storage efficiency.
• Manage user roles, permissions, and security policies to ensure compliance.
• Design, implement, and maintain data loading, transformation (ETL/ELT), and extraction processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Snowflake-related issues, including query performance and system errors.
• Maintain system documentation, operational logs, and generate regular performance reports.
• Partner with data engineers, analysts, and BI teams to ensure seamless Snowflake integration and operations.
• Recommend and apply best practices, including Snowflake upgrades and enhancements.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or database development.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake, including data modeling, query optimization, and security configuration.
• Experience with source control systems such as GitHub.
• Familiarity with ETL/ELT tools and cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• Exposure to AI tools and technologies is a plus.
• Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and analytics.
• Proven problem-solving skills and effective communication capabilities.
• Experience integrating Snowflake with BI and reporting tools is highly desirable.

Preferred Skills

• Strong knowledge of SQL and scripting languages.
• Familiarity with performance tuning techniques for large-scale data platforms.
• Experience in automation and orchestration of data workflows.
