Primary Responsibilities

• Architect and implement scalable, secure Snowflake-based data solutions for enterprise analytics.
• Optimize Snowflake performance, including warehouse sizing, query tuning, and data ingestion workflows.
• Design and manage robust ETL/ELT pipelines using Snowflake-native features and tools like FiveTran, Matillion, or Informatica.
• Lead data governance, security, and compliance efforts across the data ecosystem.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data architecture with business goals.
• Automate data workflows and orchestrate pipelines using Azure tools and Snowflake features.
• Integrate Snowflake with APIs, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), and CI/CD pipelines.
• Provide mentorship to engineering teams and ensure adherence to best practices in data quality and modeling (star/snowflake schemas).
• Build and tune machine learning models using Azure and Snowflake where applicable.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of architectures, pipelines, and processes.

Required Skills & Experience

• Deep expertise in Snowflake features (Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, Materialized Views, Data Sharing).
• Strong SQL skills and experience optimizing complex queries.
• Solid background in cloud environments (Azure preferred), including Snowflake deployment and management.
• Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation.
• Experienced in data warehousing, data modeling, and data quality practices.
• Proven ability to extract and ingest data from APIs.
• Background in machine learning model development is a strong plus.
