Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design of scalable, secure Snowflake data solutions, including data models, schemas, and pipelines.
• Implement performance tuning and optimization strategies to improve query performance, storage, and processing efficiency.
• Oversee large-scale Snowflake deployments, ensuring alignment with business needs.
• Develop and maintain guidelines for efficient ETL/ELT processes and Snowflake data workflows.
• Define and enforce best practices for Snowflake implementation, including security, compliance, and governance.
• Create technical documentation and manage the Snowflake platform evolution roadmap.
• Stay current on Snowflake updates and integrate new features to enhance the platform.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years experience as a Solution Architect or Data Architect.
• At least 4 years of hands-on experience working specifically with Snowflake in an architect or solution architect capacity.
• Deep understanding of Snowflake features, including performance tuning, query optimization, storage management, and data partitioning.
• Proven experience in large-scale Snowflake implementations across multiple environments.
• Expertise in developing and maintaining data pipelines in Snowflake, including the design and implementation of ETL/ELT processes.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and cloud data architectures.
• Snowflake SnowPro Advanced Certification (or equivalent) required.
• Hands-on experience with SQL, data transformation, and working with cloud-based data platforms.
• Familiarity with data security, compliance, and governance practices in a cloud environment.
• Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to interact effectively with business stakeholders and technical teams.
