Key Responsibilities

• Administer and configure Snowflake environments (databases, warehouses, and roles).
• Manage user access, roles, and permissions within Snowflake.
• Monitor and optimize performance, storage, and query execution.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Snowflake-related issues and performance bottlenecks.
• Implement and enforce data security and governance policies.
• Work closely with data engineering teams to design and optimize ETL workflows.
• Automate operational tasks and provide guidance on Snowflake best practices.
• Stay up to date with new features and updates within the Snowflake ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Snowflake administration and management.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake architecture, warehouses, and data modeling.
• Expertise in SQL, performance tuning, and query optimization.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of data security, access controls, and governance best practices.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Snowflake certification (e.g., SnowPro Core).
• Experience with Snowflake integrations (ETL, BI tools).
• Familiarity with automation tools and CI/CD pipelines.
