Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain SingleStore databases.
• Monitor and optimize database performance, including query tuning.
• Ensure high availability, backup, recovery, and security.
• Automate database tasks using Python scripts.
• Troubleshoot database issues and collaborate with development teams.
• Maintain documentation and stay updated on industry trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field.
• Proven experience with SingleStore database administration.
• Strong Python programming skills for database automation.
• Expertise in database performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Experience with backup, recovery, and security practices.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with other DB systems (e.g., Vertica, MySQL, Oracle).
• Experience with cloud-based DB solutions (AWS).
• Knowledge of DevOps tools and data warehousing.
