Job Responsibilities

• Lead the design, configuration, and development of applications using Opcenter EX FN / EX DS, Siemens Digital Logistics, and Opcenter Intraplant Logistics.
• Utilize hands-on experience with Opcenter EX FN / EX DS (version 3.3 and above) to develop effective solutions.
• Demonstrate solid skills in Visual Studio, MVC paradigm, REST API, OData protocols, and C++/C# programming.
• Understand and leverage various out-of-the-box (OOTB) applications and their functionalities.
• Utilize Mendix for user interface development, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Collaborate on integrating shop floor systems to enhance operational efficiency.
• Apply domain knowledge in manufacturing and supply chain to drive effective solutions.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of Siemens Opcenter Foundation and Opcenter Execution Discrete.
• Lead 1-3 Siemens Opcenter MES implementations, guiding teams through the development lifecycle.
• Understand customer requirements and propose solutions using OOTB product features, minimizing the need for customizations.
• Advise customers on alternative approaches when proposed solutions may lead to heavy customization.
• Write and optimize SQL stored procedures to support application functionality.
• Conduct unit testing, functional testing, and integration testing, and provide deployment, UAT, and go-live support.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in software development, particularly with Siemens OpsCenter.
• Strong hands-on experience with Opcenter EX FN / EX DS (version 3.3 and above).
• Proficient in Visual Studio, C++/C#, and web development technologies (MVC, REST APIs, OData).
• Familiarity with Mendix for UI development.
• Expertise in writing SQL stored procedures.
• Experience in unit testing, functional testing, and integration testing methodologies.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing and supply chain processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective customer engagement.
