We are seeking a SharePoint Specialist to design, organize, and maintain a centralized documentation platform. The role involves consolidating technical documentation from multiple sources (SharePoint, Confluence, Jira, etc.), creating a structured SharePoint environment, and ensuring documentation is accurate, accessible, and sustainable.
Primary Responsibilities
- Inventory, analyze, and consolidate technical documentation from SharePoint, Confluence, Jira, and other tools
- Design and implement a structured SharePoint documentation framework (sites, libraries, folders, metadata, templates)
- Migrate and standardize documentation into SharePoint ensuring consistency, usability, and searchability
- Organize and maintain technical content including:
- Network playbooks and runbooks
- Configuration and infrastructure documentation
- Architecture diagrams
- Licenses, warranties, entitlements, and operational artifacts
- Identify documentation gaps and work with technical SMEs to complete missing content
- Collaborate closely with offshore HSC teams as key documentation contributors
- Establish and enforce lightweight documentation standards (naming conventions, versioning, ownership, and structure)
- Perform light technical writing and editing to improve clarity, consistency, and quality of documentation
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience in organizing and managing technical documentation (IT infrastructure, network, or operations)
- Hands-on expertise in SharePoint administration, including site structure, libraries, and document management best practices
- Experience working with Confluence and/or Jira migration to SharePoint
- Ability to quickly understand and categorize complex technical content
- Strong collaboration skills with distributed/offshore teams
- Self-driven and able to work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications
- Background supporting network or infrastructure engineering teams
- Experience with IT documentation standards, runbooks, and operational playbooks
- Prior involvement in documentation transformation or knowledge management initiatives
