Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer SharePoint Online environments, including Team Sites, Hub Sites, Classic Sites, and Record Centers.
  • Oversee SharePoint settings, features, and incident/service management.
  • Manage SharePoint permissions, site collections, lists, and libraries.
  • Analyze and report on SharePoint usage and activity.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve end-user queries and issues with out-of-the-box features.
  • Set up alerts, enforce policies, and implement site migrations (Classic to Modern).
  • Administer OneDrive for Business, including sync issues, external sharing, and health monitoring.
  • Implement and maintain Microsoft 365 compliance policies (Retention, DLP, IRM, etc.).
  • Manage user profiles, optimize search experiences, and support Office 365 Groups integration.
  • Collaborate on digital transformation initiatives and enhance SharePoint functionality.
  • Use PowerShell scripting and SharePoint PnP modules for app deployment and administration.
  • Administer Message Center and Service Health Center for proactive monitoring.

 

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in SharePoint Online administration and M365 ecosystem.
  • Expertise in PowerShell scripting and SharePoint PnP.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Compliance Center, DLP, IRM, and Retention strategies.
  • Familiarity with Azure AD Connect, DirSync, and user synchronization.
  • Hands-on experience in SharePoint site migrations and app deployments.
  • Experience in managing permissions, M365 groups, and OneDrive for Business.
  • Knowledge of SharePoint metadata, content types, search schemas, and document libraries.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Purview, adaptive scopes, and governance frameworks.

 

Qualifications:

  • Strong troubleshooting skills for OOTB and custom SharePoint features.
  • Ability to integrate SharePoint Online with external business applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative environment for digital transformation initiatives.
