Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
  • Configure, customize, and support the ServiceNow Vulnerability Response (VR) module.
  • Design and develop workflows, business rules, client scripts, and integrations to support vulnerability management processes.
  • Integrate ServiceNow VR with external vulnerability scanners and CMDB for automated vulnerability correlation and tracking.
  • Configure MID Servers, APIs, and data sources for vulnerability data ingestion and synchronization.
  • Develop automation for vulnerability assignment, remediation workflows, and exception handling.
  • Create dashboards, reports, and analytics to monitor vulnerability trends and KPIs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve platform and integration issues.
  • Ensure adherence to security, governance, and ServiceNow best practices.
  • Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and ITSM teams to improve vulnerability management operations.
Required Technical / Functional Skills
  • 5–9 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in ServiceNow Vulnerability Response (VR) module implementation.
  • Strong experience configuring and customizing ServiceNow VR for vulnerability identification, prioritization, remediation, and reporting.
  • Expertise in workflows, business rules, client scripts, Flow Designer, and automation within the VR lifecycle.
  • Experience integrating ServiceNow VR with vulnerability scanners such as Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7, Prisma Cloud, etc.
  • Strong understanding of CMDB, Discovery, and ITSM processes.
  • Hands-on experience with MID Servers, data sources, REST/SOAP APIs, and vulnerability data ingestion.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, and ServiceNow integrations.
  • Experience creating dashboards, reports, and Performance Analytics for vulnerability KPIs and trends.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification preferred.
