We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Security & Risk Developer to design, develop, and enhance security and risk management solutions on the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will have strong ServiceNow development expertise, hands-on experience with Security Operations (SecOps) and Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) modules, and a solid understanding of security workflows, integrations, and automation.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain applications and solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
- Configure and customize ServiceNow Security Operations (SecOps) and GRC modules.
- Develop and optimize security and risk workflows using Workflow Editor and Flow Designer.
- Build and maintain integrations with external applications using REST/SOAP APIs and IntegrationHub.
- Develop scalable server-side and client-side scripts using JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting.
- Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and application teams to deliver secure and efficient solutions.
- Troubleshoot platform issues and optimize application performance.
- Participate in code reviews and follow ServiceNow development best practices.
- Create technical documentation and support deployment activities.
- Stay current with ServiceNow platform capabilities and emerging security technologies.
Required Qualifications
- 5–8 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development.
- Strong experience with ServiceNow Security Operations (SecOps), GRC, or risk management workflows.
- Experience developing integrations using REST APIs, SOAP services, and IntegrationHub.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting (Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions).
- Hands-on experience with Workflow Editor and Flow Designer.
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform configuration and customization.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience integrating ServiceNow with security platforms such as SIEM, SOAR, Identity and Access Management (IAM), and vulnerability management tools.
- Familiarity with security operations, governance, risk, and compliance processes.
- Experience implementing workflow automation and AI-enabled security solutions.
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
