We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Platform Architect to provide strategic architectural guidance and help maximize the value of enterprise ServiceNow investments. This role focuses on defining platform strategy, governance, architecture, and roadmap while ensuring scalability, security, and long-term platform health. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in ServiceNow architecture, ITSM, enterprise governance, and AI capabilities within the ServiceNow platform.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Define and drive the overall ServiceNow platform architecture and strategic roadmap aligned with business objectives.
- Advise stakeholders on platform capabilities, workflow adoption, and solution architecture best practices.
- Lead architecture reviews and establish governance frameworks to ensure platform scalability, security, maintainability, and upgrade readiness.
- Assess platform health and recommend improvements for performance, technical debt, security, and operational efficiency.
- Identify architectural and technical risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure long-term platform stability.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable ServiceNow solutions.
- Guide enterprise adoption of ServiceNow AI capabilities, including Now Assist and Agentic AI, aligned with organizational goals.
- Provide expertise in ServiceNow data architecture, integrations, CMDB, CSDM, security, and application development.
- Develop platform roadmaps, technology standards, and architectural best practices.
- Facilitate technical workshops, executive presentations, and cross-functional architecture discussions.
- Stay current with emerging ServiceNow capabilities and recommend platform enhancements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience designing and implementing enterprise ServiceNow solutions.
- Proven experience as a ServiceNow Platform Architect, Solution Architect, or Technical Architect.
- Strong expertise in ServiceNow platform architecture, governance, and enterprise solution design.
- Deep knowledge of ITSM and at least one additional ServiceNow module such as ITOM, CSM, HRSD, or SecOps.
- Experience with CMDB, CSDM, integration frameworks, security model, and instance lifecycle management.
- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles, governance frameworks, and technical debt management.
- Experience creating platform roadmaps and aligning technology initiatives with business objectives.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic planning abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience implementing AI capabilities within the ServiceNow platform, including Now Assist and Agentic AI.
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF.
- Experience leading digital transformation and large-scale ServiceNow implementations.
- Knowledge of Agile, DevOps, and ITIL best practices.
