Overview
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Architect with strong enterprise platform expertise to lead end-to-end ServiceNow implementations and drive platform strategy, design, and governance. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience across ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, integrations, and platform architecture, along with strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end ServiceNow platform architecture, design, and implementation across enterprise environments
- Define and govern ServiceNow platform strategy, ensuring scalability, security, and best practices
- Architect and implement ITSM and ITOM solutions, including Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management
- Design and govern CMDB architecture aligned with CSDM standards and data governance principles
- Implement and manage Discovery solutions, including cloud discovery for AWS and Azure environments
- Design and oversee integrations using REST, SOAP, Integration Hub, and Service Graph Connectors
- Integrate ServiceNow with enterprise monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, cloud platforms, and Active Directory
- Ensure adherence to platform governance, coding standards, ACLs, role-based access control, and data privacy policies
- Lead platform upgrades, enhancements, and performance optimization initiatives
- Provide architectural guidance for enterprise adoption of AIOps, Virtual Agent, and GenAI capabilities
- Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable ServiceNow solutions
- Mentor and lead development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and high-quality delivery
Required Skills & Experience
- 10–15+ years of overall IT experience
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow platform development and architecture
- Strong expertise in ITSM and ITOM modules (Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management)
- Deep experience in CMDB design, governance, and CSDM framework implementation
- Strong understanding of cloud discovery and infrastructure (AWS, Azure)
- Advanced experience with ServiceNow integrations using REST, SOAP, Integration Hub, and Service Graph Connectors
- Experience integrating ServiceNow with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, cloud platforms, and Active Directory
- Strong development experience with adherence to coding standards and platform governance
- Strong knowledge of ACLs, RBAC, security, data privacy, and compliance standards
- Experience in ServiceNow platform upgrades and version management
- Strong understanding of AIOps, Virtual Agent, and GenAI capabilities within ServiceNow ecosystem
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of additional ServiceNow modules such as GRC/IRM, HRSD, SecOps, or others
- Experience in large-scale enterprise ServiceNow implementations
- Exposure to IT operations transformation and automation initiatives
- Experience working in complex, multi-tier enterprise environments
Certifications
- Mandatory: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- Preferred: Certified Application Developer (CAD) and/or ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications
