Job Description

1. Work collaboratively as a member of an integrated government team to provide professional web design and database development support.
2. Support the team by designing, developing, implementing, and monitoring web pages and databases that provide easy access to information used by citizens and businesses.
3. Work with senior government officials under tight deadlines to translate ideas and concepts into professional, web-based products.
4. Ensure the design and layout of all products, reports, documents, briefings, and publications are easily transferred to and retrievable from the enterprise web sites.
5. Maintain and update numerous enterprise and office databases that are accessible via web application.
6. Work with other team members including, usability specialists, domain leads, business analysts, subject matter experts, management team, etc. to ensure innovative, usable,   useful, desirable, and technically feasible, solutions.
7. Develop and maintain graphical user interfaces (GUIs) for web systems.
8. Assist management in the identification and archiving of officials records and files.
9. Assist an integrated government team to design, develop, monitor and maintain a web portal. This support includes working with agency’s’ communication staff to identify and implement required changes and providing electronic-compatible inputs for posting of new/updated information, policy issues, and related information as directed.

11. 4 years of experience creating templates, creation of graphics, supporting both static and dynamic web development, and utilizing the latest web technologies.
EDUCATION:
Masters (MS/MA) degree in computer science with 2 years of experience (or) a BS/BA degree in computer science with (4) years of experience preferred.
