Senior UI/UX Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior UI/UX Engineer with strong full-stack and backend engineering capabilities, focused on building scalable enterprise applications and data-driven user experiences. This role requires deep expertise in Java-based systems, backend services, APIs, and database technologies, along with an eye for building intuitive and high-quality user experiences.

Core Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable enterprise-grade applications with a strong focus on performance, usability, and maintainability
• Build and maintain backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate requirements into functional, responsive, and user-friendly applications
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs to support front-end and system interactions
• Optimize application performance across frontend-backend-data layers
• Work on database design, queries, and optimization for large-scale systems
• Participate in CI/CD pipeline implementation and release management
• Ensure code quality through best practices in development, testing, and version control

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 6–8 years of professional experience in software development or related engineering roles
• Strong hands-on experience with Java (JDK 17 or above)
• Deep expertise in Spring Boot framework and backend development
• Proven experience in building and consuming REST APIs
• Strong understanding of CI/CD tools and processes, including:
  • Git
  • Jenkins
  • Maven
  • JaCoCo (code coverage)
• Strong database expertise with SQL and PL/SQL
• Experience with Oracle and/or Snowflake databases (preferred)
• Exposure to reporting tools and data visualization/reporting systems

Preferred Skills

• Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and user-centric design thinking
• Experience working in enterprise-scale, distributed systems
• Ability to bridge frontend UX requirements with backend engineering implementation
• Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
• Experience working in Agile development environments
