Roles and Responsibilities

• Developing and testing disaster recovery plans to guarantee data integrity, system resilience, and swift restoration of services in case of critical incidents.
• Monitoring system performance, identifying bottlenecks, and executing pipeline optimization.
• Implementing comprehensive service metrics to track and report on system reliability, performance, and efficiency
• Developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, enhancing the consistency and speed of software deployment
• Designing and implementing scalable, highly available system architectures to handle increasing loads and user demands without compromising performance.
• Automating routine tasks and creating tools to improve team efficiency and system robustness
• Managing incident response protocols, including on-call rotations for junior engineers and strategic planning for senior personnel.

Required Qualifications

• Proficiency in Linux/Unix and Windows systems.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, Ruby, or Perl.
• Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools like Jenkins, Github, and ADO. 
• Configuration Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Ansible, helm, and Terraform.
• Experience with cloud services such as Azure Cloud Platform or others.
• Knowledge of Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in version control systems, especially Github & ADO    
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or Splunk.
