Key Responsibilities

• Automate NAIC Compliance and state forms, including premium tax filings using Sovos Statutory Reporting Software.
• Prepare and report annual and quarterly statements to the NAIC and state regulators.
• Cross-check data in statutory reports, manually re-enter redundant data, and add financial statement notes.
• Monitor and implement changes to NAIC and state filing requirements.
• Automate data additions, adjustments, and validations for compliance accuracy.
• Integrate data from legacy systems (SAP, Java, SQL) and ERP systems into Sovos software.
• Support finance teams during the close periods and resolve related queries.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application servers, particularly Wings.
• Optimize automation of feed processing in Wings.

Required Skills

• Expertise in Sovos Statutory Reporting and tax/regulatory reporting software.
• Strong background in insurance accounting, annual statement preparation, and statutory compliance.
• Hands-on experience with SQL, data integration, and legacy systems (SAP, Java, SQL).
• Experience in troubleshooting Wings and working with automation feed processing.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Education & Experience

• 7+ years of experience in statutory reporting or finance and accounting roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
