Roles and Responsibilities

• Provide strategic consulting to government agencies, focusing on technology solutions that enhance efficiency and compliance.
• Recommend documentation and knowledge management strategies to capture and disseminate best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into actionable technology solutions.
• Design and assess solution architectures, ensuring alignment with IT security standards and system integration best practices.
• Stay informed about state and federal regulations impacting government technology systems, providing insights and recommendations accordingly.
• Lead project initiatives, employing project management methodologies and technology governance frameworks.
• Analyze complex problems and develop innovative solutions that meet client objectives.
• Mentor and guide junior consultants and team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years of experience in technology consulting or advisory roles, with at least 10 years in a senior position.
• Strong understanding of solution architecture, system integration, and IT security concepts.
• At least 5 years of experience with unemployment insurance programs, specifically working with a state’s department of labor.
• In-depth knowledge of relevant state and federal regulations affecting government technology systems.
• Familiarity with technology governance frameworks and project management methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.
• Proven leadership and advisory abilities, with a track record of successful client engagement.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively conveying complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working with government agencies or non-technical organizations is highly desirable.
