Primary Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Slack's infrastructure, ensuring high availability, reliability, and scalability.
• Understand Slack’s software architecture to optimize performance and troubleshoot infrastructure-related issues.
• Implement and manage authentication mechanisms and security features within the Slack environment.
• Oversee the integration of add-ons, plugins, and other tools to enhance Slack’s functionality.
• Ensure seamless integration of Slack with other internal and external systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support various business units and their Slack usage.
• Lead vendor relationships, knowing when to push or escalate issues for timely resolution.
• Proactively learn and implement new technologies to improve Slack infrastructure.

Required Experience

• Proven leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Strong experience with SaaS vendors (particularly Slack) and cloud-based infrastructure.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills to resolve complex infrastructure issues.
• Strong knowledge of Slack architecture, add-ons, and integrations.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and handle vendor relations effectively.
