Responsibilities

• In this role, the Senior Site Reliability Engineer will adopt modern DevOps approaches to deployment and maintenance of infrastructure and products to reduce the time between committing a change to a system and the change being placed in production, whilst ensuring high quality 
• Automate and improve development and release processes 
• Support and troubleshoot any platform/infrastructure issues
• Work closely with the Security team to ensure that the platform is secure by design, compliant and meets all the requirements to protect customer data and ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats 
• The Senior Site Reliability Engineer will be working with software developers and architect to design and operate a robust, scalable, and stable architecture that can handle huge volumes of data.
• Adhere to company policies and any other reasonable management instructions as required by and for the business.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with Linux (Ubuntu, Amazon Linux); Windows Server experience is a bonus.
• Strong grasp of networking fundamentals, including IPv4, routing, firewalling, and load balancing.
• Proficiency in AWS fundamentals; AWS certification and Serverless experience are advantageous.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL and SQL Server; experience with Aurora is a bonus.
• Proficient in Git.
• Deep understanding of CI/CD principles and practices; experience with GitLab is a plus.
• Knowledge of Terraform or CloudFormation; familiarity with Serverless Framework is a bonus.
• Proficiency in Docker; experience with ECS/Fargate is a bonus.
• Strong skills in Bash; Python experience is a plus.
