We are seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer to design, develop, and maintain Security Operations modules, including Security Incident Response (SIR), Vulnerability Response (VR), and Threat Intelligence. The role involves technical leadership, hands-on development, platform troubleshooting, and integration with security tools like Tenable and Splunk.
Core Responsibilities
- Develop, configure, and maintain SIR, VR, Threat Intelligence, and Configuration Compliance modules.
- Revert SIR modules to out-of-the-box state, manage record transformations, and update dashboards/reports.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers; lead design sessions and code reviews.
- Troubleshoot platform and integration issues; support upgrades, patches, and module rollouts.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and IT teams to translate requirements into secure, scalable solutions.
- Maintain technical documentation and deliver training to end-users and developers.
- Stay current with ServiceNow features to optimize performance and enhance user experience.
Required Technical Skills
- ServiceNow Applications: Security Operations (SecOps) – SIR, VR, Threat Intelligence, Configuration Compliance
- Integrations: Tenable, Splunk
- Platform & Scripting: ServiceNow platform, workflows, scripting, and integrations; JavaScript, HTML, CSS
- Core ServiceNow Knowledge: Understanding of platform fundamentals, modules, roles, ACLs, and reporting
- Other Skills: Excellent troubleshooting, technical documentation, and collaboration skills
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 4+ years of ServiceNow development experience, with significant exposure to SecOps (SIR, VR, Threat Intelligence)
- Hands-on experience integrating ServiceNow with Tenable, Splunk, or other security tools
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, ServiceNow scripting, workflows, and integrations
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and in team environments
